Ive known this girl since I was 8 and always had s thing for her. It finally bud into a hard crush after we began openly engaging in events together and Ive come to realize I just.. love her personality. Shes already gorgeous, but her mind is so intelligent and every conversation with her makes my day.

I wasnt planning on persuing her just yet since we only recently began reconnecting.

My mom caught on and bugged me about the direction my relationship to this girl was going.

I admitted I had a massive crush and was keeping it under wraps.

What I DIDNT realize was.. our moms are friends.

They talked about it and began pushing me to make advances neither me or her are ready for

Im enjoying this time together with her and I dont want the pursuit of my feelings get in the way of our stunning friendship growth and adventures together

I dont want the pursuit to make her think all my time with her is just to catch her or to get into her pants.

I got a sudden scolding by my mom on the matter about how Im failing by not asking her out immediately.

I got emotional asked her out waaaay too early and it got akward.

this situation has put me into a weird situation.

I think I should just come clean and say I made an embarrassing mistake and explain I got pushed by my mom to move faster

Or avoid it and give a watered down version of the story to explain my weird behavior

Im pretty sure this girl would understand and laugh it off with me for the goofy situation it is.
