Cockroachino and cockroachina were living in a small village in the south and fell in love with each other. Cockroachina came from a conservative rich family so she was afraid to tell her parents about cockroachino, who was poor and came from a ghetto. But they really loved each other, so one day she told him that he needs to meet her parents and get their approval.

Cockroachino was so excited. He booked an appointment with her dad, then bought a new suit and flowers and went to their mansion. Her dad asked him about his name and background, so he said “I’m Cockroachino Cockroachinzo. My parents came here as immigrants from Japan and were in an internment camp”. Then her dad asked about his job so Cockroachino said he gathers some wheat seeds in the summer and sells them to other insects, and spends the winter unemployed. Her dad started feeling uncomfortable. Then he asked about where he lives so Cockroachino said he lives in the crack of a dead tree. Her dad was furious. He said: “listen Cockroachino. My daughter must be treated like a princess and obviously you cannot afford to give her this. You should get a decent job and some savings first.”

Cockroachino was saddened but his love for cockroachina was so deep. He wanted to go anything to be with her. So he traveled to silicon valley and started working on a startup and got VC funding. After 2 years of a long distance relationship, Cockroachino became rich.

But there was another problem. Cockroachina’s dad met another rich cockroach and wanted to have an arranged marriage for cockroachina. She could not refuse because her dad was so strict. So she texted Cockroachino and told him to come back urgently.

Cockroachino was furious. He booked a first class ticket the same day from California back home, and booked an Uber Black to pick him up from the airport. His Uber picked him up, and went quickly to cockroachina’s place. He arrived there and cockroachina was sitting on the stairs, crying. He opened the car window as soon as he saw her and shouted: Cockroachinaaa!

When she heard him she couldn’t believe it. She replied: Cockroachinoo!

He stepped out of the car and started running towards her, and she stood up and wiped her tears and started running towards him. They got close to each other and opened their arms to hug each other.

That was when I was walking in the neighborhood, and I stepped on both of them accidentally and killed them.
