I have a "Live Free or Die" tattoo (NH state motto). Every time my addiction made me light up or sneak to the bathroom at work to hit my Juul, I felt like a fucking hypocrite. Quitting tobacco first then nicotine altogether in two steps actually made it much easier than I was expecting, though I know I'm not quite through the woods yet.
I've been amazed by the mental clarity, increased energy, and sense of personal accomplishment I feel. Thanks, r/stopsmoking, for helping make me an honest man again.
Edit: Oops, typo in the title. Ya'll get it. So much for that mental clarity ;)
