Many months ago, I switched from smoking cigarettes to vaping. Now, I'm looking to get completely away from it all, with the help of nicotine replacements (gum and lozenges specifically). I've tried the replacements and they work well and I want to do the full program for them to be safe, so as far as cravings for actual nicotine I feel like that's going to be handled.
However, what's always messed with me in the past is craving the physical sensation of inhaling smoke/vapor. It's not just the deep breath or the hand-to-mouth motion, but that feeling I get in my throat and lungs that I crave so darned much. It's not something I should crave, but habits are weird. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and do you have any recommendations to alleviate the cravings to inhale something? People I know have suggested switching to a zero-nicotine vape temporarily, but I don't want to use any and honestly most of the ones I've tried taste weird.
