Drank last night. Felt awful today, so of course I wanted to drink to ‘feel better’. Was on the way to the liquor store and just thought… ‘why?’. I didn’t actually want it. I was just going through the motions of things I did in the past. Turned around and went home.
Sure, alcohol would make me feel better in this exact moment. But is it going to get me to my fitness and body goals? No. Nothing changes if nothing changes.
You don’t HAVE to drink. It’s always a choice.
So today is officially day one. Got to the gym today, it was pitiful, but I was there.
Would love to join forces with anyone else in the early days looking for some accountability.
