Is it possible I ever drink normally again?
Post Body

Hello. I’m about 5 months sober from alcohol. I had a serious issue with alcohol and took a 3 month break but when I went back I had been drinking as bad as before. This time with some serious repercussions. I checked myself into a sober living and have been attending AA but I find it hard to believe I can never drink normally again. I’m 23 years old and attending college and although my life has been better I still miss the nights when drinking had been fun. My drinking really skyrocketed during COVID and I had been in a deep depression. Of course I’d like to seek a professional’s opinion and I know I can’t drink any time soon but the rest of my life seems a bit outlandish.
