For my former beer drinkers— I found 4 bottles of mineral water to give me the same sensation and social aspect that beer did at my parents anniversary party.

Had I not had them I’m sure watching those around me “drink without impunity” would have gotten to me.

Before my boyfriend showed up with them I was hyper focused on everyone’s beers— of course. Wouldn’t be an alcoholic without the mental obsession. There was even a thought “they’re light beers” — I PREVAILED!!

Grateful for this community to share my thoughts.
