Had a meltdown..

I have no idea why but the wife and I went to Costco and spent way more then expected.. it started stressing me out (money is tight) and I literally went into a stress spiral. My brain kept saying "get beer" I didnt but holy shit I don't know why that happened I've been fine up till now.. anyone have any advice?
