UK based Sobriety groups (in-person or online)

Today is Day 1 for me after hitting rock bottom and ruining an amazing relationship with my lack of control and drinking habits.
Since deciding to stop drinking I have been looking for some sober groups in the UK (I live in Liverpool) and was wondering if anyone had any bits of advice or ideas. I've looked at AA however I'm not sure if the religious aspects of this plan and group are best suited for me.
