So it’s been more than 24hrs since I had a drink, I know doesn’t sound too long. But I’m getting overly aggressive and even emotional at times. I ended up crying like 3 times and am going through a emotional roller coaster. I even gave up on weed and tobacco. Do you think it’s normal to have such withdrawal symptoms or is it just me ??
Edit 1 : - I was wondering if being alcoholic for 2 years and now getting back on my feet gives me this sudden urge of energy and excitement by resisting to drink. It increased my willpower, self esteem, confidence and also reduced my anxiety. Is it okay to go for a drink in between and start resisting again to feel this momentum ? Or is it just a trap where I’m convincing myself to drink ?
