I noticed change since the first day I quit drinking. I started sleeping a bit better. Not necessarily longer but I felt a more rested after waking up. No naps throughout the day. Small problems don't blow up until they seem insuperable but just remain a problem that can be solved by me.
The biggest win for me? The weekends. They feel as if they have doubled in length. I don't go out as much (this is something I pity, but I haven't been able to enjoy myself the way I used to - advise is welcomed). I no longer sleep in til forever and I am fresh as a daisy, so I can do whatever I want. Met up with friends and family, picked up an old hobby and even enrolled in a course about a topic I love.
Both the support of this community as well as the very book of Annie Grace's are truly appreciated.
