So far so good today. Just had some minor cravings which I'll deduce are the result of boredom. Im working from home today and work isn't really keeping me busy so the mind started to wander. I raided my kids' Easter candy for the third time this week, and added "Buy more Easter candy" to my to-do list.
When I was at the grocery store the other day looking for alternative drinks, I suddenly remembered what my grandpa's go-to was. Martinelli's apple cider. It was always on hand at their house, by the case, and for the longest time I just assumed he loved the stuff. Then when I got older I learned that he had also struggled in this space, and martinelli's had become his replacement. So I bought some.
And now that I'm here I can understand why. The color and fizziness are reminiscent of a beer. Or, you can almost pretend it's a hard apple cider, sans the booze. The sweetness and sugars also seem to help with the cravings. If you're looking for something to try that may help, give it a shot.
I just washed my handful of jelly beans down with a glass of the stuff, so please excuse me while I go run around the block three times.
