Coming up on day 14 tomorrow. It’s hard. I’ve focused on diet and exercise as well as therapy. But the thing that’s getting me the most is extreme loneliness. It just keeps hitting me. I’m also having a very hard time finding the right emotions. I’ve been reading how constant alcohol use can fry your dopamine and serotonin receptors. That it may take 60 days up to 2 years or more for them to recover. Has anyone else had similar issues? How long did it take for you to feel somewhat normal again?
