Drinking robs you of your potential

Concern for my health, safety, work and relationships wasn’t enough to get me to quit. What finally did it was that I was sick of my lame excuse of a life. To drink is to sit idly in the passenger seat of life and watch it pass you by. You accomplish little to nothing of what you’re capable of and are robbed of life’s richness. F that - if I gotta live this life I’m going to make it worth living!
