Am i crazy for not being able to taste weed?

hey guys,
I was wondering about how allot of my stoner friends say that they can taste the different strains by flavor. what I mean is they can tell the difference of different strains by taste alone. I have never been able to actually taste any difference between strains at all. always wanted to know if I'm crazy or if my friends where just bullshitting me this whole time.
