Every week on the Queens of the Stone Age subreddit we take a dive into a band that has collaborated with, has influenced, has been influenced by or has toured with Josh Homme and our very own desert rockers.
This week we take a look at a band that has found their groove and stayed there for the last 30 years. They are nothing if not consistent. They've yet to put out a bad album. Their hooks are crazy good and every record is full of jams. Plus their sound is fuzzier and dirtier than a 1970's porn set.
One of their EPs, Godzilla, was recorded out at Rancho de la Luna and produced by our very own Josh Homme. JHo also played guitar and backing percussion on the EP. And ex-Kyuss drummer Brant Bjork produced their first record, and played drums for the band on a further four albums.
Come check out the write up! You may learn something new, or you may have something cool to contribute. Look forward to reading any comments that you'd like to add to help Queens fans appreciate Fu Manchu.
See you there!
