Woulda coulda shoulda post:
I have had my eye on NYMT forever, and RWT the last week or so. RWT went to the 🌚 today, and NYMT is trading up as well.
I know trying to time the market is a death sentence, but with REITs, is there any logic to trying to buy AFTER the 1st of the month, since that’s mortgage day? Last month, RWT peaked around 4/1 and then dropped hard the next few days.
Do I wait for a dip on these two after 5/1, or buy now and watch it continue it’s mission to 🪐
