Apparently many people are buying shipping stock, which have caused the stocks’ values to soar. I am super amateur, so I would like to know why people are buying those companies’ stocks if the costs and expenses are driven up by the intense situation in that area.
I googled and never got a clear explanation regarding why people think the demands of the stocks will increase.
The shipping companies will definitely increase the price of shipping, but with higher costs and expenses, their net profits are still going to soar?
People buy shipping stocks during Covid time, I can understand, but how about now?
