Tesla stock tried to make it five winning days in a row. News about its next car was boosting shares early in a new week, but the impact faded. Still, investors are feeling better after a recent bout of volatility.

I think a cheaper EV is positive and further edge out the gas cars.

Tesla sold more EVs. A lot more EVs.

This is like saying iPhone 1 is hosed because people still have rotary phones (or did, back then)

you mean the same robot Boston Dynamics built 10 years ago?

Boston Dynamics isn't the same market - those aren't cheap, and they aren't smart - those are synchronized movements programmed by a human (recently Boston Dynamics added a LLM for conversations, but isn't clearly they are adding basic reasoning like 'go to the kitchen and bring me the red cup'). The competition here is thinking/reasoning robots like Google's PalmE, and the robots Amazon is actually buying and using in their warehouses.

have caught up

weird that they can keep it all off of youtube. Mercedes is supposed to be the in the lead, but they are no YT videos of coming close to the FSD beta.
