I saw the merger and did some digging into it and am a little confused, So from my understanding, jet blue is going to buy out spirit shares at $33 a piece, they are currently trading at around $18 - $19. Why is the share price not rising to match the buyout price? That is basically garunteed profit as long as the merger goes through, i would think investors would jump on that like kids to candy. Is there doubts of the merger going through? is there something im not seeing? Any feedback would be great, i hold a small position and plan on buying more if i can confirm my perception of this deal
