Problem getting paid from Alamy

Last summer, a picture of mine sold on Alamy from $295 but the payment has been "cleared yet. I contacted them around October and they said they were still waiting to get payment from the customer who bought the photograph, but surely that should have been cleared by now.
Has anyone had any similar experiences? Any guidance to offer?
