With the arrival of Season 6, there are many new players and returning old players. Regardless of whether you're new here or not, everyone should be familiar with the subreddit rules (especially rule #3) and the FAQ section. If someone asks a question for which the answer has already been written, please direct him/her there.

As we gain more subscribers, this will become especially important because we don't want the subreddit overrun with a bunch of topics asking questions that only require a simple answer that can be found in the FAQ or by doing a search of r/STO.

On another note, I decided to make our Steam group public so that anyone can join. We will be posting event announcements and fleet news for those of you in Reddit Alert/House of Snoo. If you don't feel like logging on to the game but want to chat, there is a chatroom that everyone in the group can use. To access it, go to your Friends window, click the 'Groups' tab, and click the down arrow next to the group chatroom you wish to join.
