The devs don't care much about the lore, timeline makes no sense at all. This is how the timeline should be.

I imagine each war you are just a small part of a massive war with huge space battles but you are often taking part in deceive events.

I pretend there is really 2-3 months inbetween missions to gauge how long a war is.
