Greetings everyone. It's been a while since my last mod post, but this is pretty big so I want everyone to know about it. The admins at Reddit recently made the Reddit wiki system live so that every subreddit has its own, editable wiki, complete with separable pages, table of contents, and so on. This is pretty exciting because it means that we can now crowdsource our wiki and allow subreddit users to edit the wiki at will, rather than just one person (me) doing all the work. It makes me glad that this resource will still be here and get updated even long after I've supposedly quit STO and moved on to other games.

For now, I've restricted editing of the wiki to only the moderators until I discuss with the other officers about the criterion for allowing users to edit the wiki. I will make another mod post about this in the near future.

So without further ado, here are the links to the wiki!

1. http://www.reddit.com/r/sto/wiki/index - this link should also appear at the very top next to the post sorting options.

2. http://www.reddit.com/r/sto/wiki/stf - STF guides now has its own page. For now there are only space guides, but hopefully we will have ground STF guides very soon once the wiki has been opened up for crowdsourcing.

3. http://www.reddit.com/r/sto/wiki/glossary - the glossary now has its own page for easy reference.

These three pages are the only ones in existence right now, but I'm sure there will be many more to come. Keep your eyes open for another mod post where I will detail how users can get editing rights to the wiki.

tl;dr: Anyone with an account that is 244 days (8 months) old and has 60 subreddit karma should be able to edit any part of the wiki except the index. To see your subreddit karma breakdown, go to your /u/ page (http://www.reddit.com/user/YOURREDDITUSERNAME/) and click on the link on the top right of the page called "show karma breakdown by subreddit".
