We were supposed to get a direct deposit and have yet to receive it, anyone else have the same issue?

I am having a hard time actually getting through to the tax board so I am currently waiting 2 hours for a call back. Hopefully I can get some answers.

We qualify based on the requirements online but the deadline for direct deposit has passed so I am getting nervous.

Update: after talking to the FTB rep it seems that the state controllers office handles approval of the stimulus release - my account, despite meeting all criteria, has yet to be approved so I may end up getting a debit card later this month as my last name is at the end of the alphabet.

If nothing comes, I was advised to call back in January. I am kinda concerned that the state isn’t managing this well.

Update 2!!!: I got my refund via direct deposit today. So the rules don’t matter. Good luck everyone.
