Question: If someone CAN claim me on their taxes but DID NOT claim me, will this affect me receiving a stimulus check?
Post Body

I filed with TurboTax as I always do back in early April. I'm 22 and I still live at home with my father and my younger siblings. When filing on TurboTax, at one point you will be asked if someone CAN claim you on their taxes and whether they WILL or WILL NOT claim you. Obviously since I live with my dad, who provides financial support, he CAN claim me. But since we have both been doing our taxes separately for the last 2 years or so, he has not claimed me ever since I got my first job.

My question is that since I answered yes to whether or not someone CAN claim me, will this prevent me from receiving the stimulus check? And if so, is there a way to dispute it? I've been checking the IRS website for any info or updates regarding my status, but I still get the infamous PSNA screen.
