Hi everyone, I want to buy a Mustang GT soon but have not driven a manual before, other than a 20-minute "lesson" on my sister's diesel Jetta. I stalled a bunch, but understand the basics.
My question is this, would it be a bad idea to buy the Mustang, have someone drive it to my house, and then teach myself on it solo? Is this dangerous due to a more powerful car, and/or will I cause a lot of damage learning on a car that's still being broken in?
I'd keep learning on the Jetta, but it is an hour away and I feel terrible while practicing, feeling like I'm damaging her car. Which I think is also impacting my ability to learn, because part of my concentration is always on the "don't stall in front of your sister and break her car" etc.
I did that with my Camaro. Itβs not issue
