Hi,
I am learning to drive manual for the first time ever in my 23 GTI. Since I am just a beginner, I have been experiencing rough shifting that sometimes shake my entire car. I have been driving manual for 2 weeks now and I am slowly improving and becoming smoother. It feels very satisfying to do so. However, I read that shifting rough harshly damages the powertrain, differentials and suspension of a car. I am now worried that I am damaging my car with every rough shift. Eventually I will be smooth at it but I am worried that I will still have some rough shifts in the future since I am not a robot who can shift perfectly 100%. For that reason, I am kinda regretting getting a manual car due to reduced longevity since I intend to drive this car to the ground.
