Ordered some sterile needles for stick n poke, but looking for advice on best dye to buy that’s affordable?

I’d love to find a purple if possible, otherwise black is fine. Amazon/online would be easier since I live kinda in the middle of nowhere.
Gonna look up best practices before I actually do this obviously, but any recommendations from those who’ve stick and poked themselves?
Apparently my skin tattoos easily (according to past tattoo artists), not sure how you know how deep to prick?
Also if anyone has cute cat themed ideas I’m all “ears”! 🙂
