Steven going to Homeworld should have been way longer.
Post Body

It feels like the whole thing was rushed. Even though Steven went to Homeworld, we didn’t get to really see any of it. We saw a few rooms of the Diamond palaces, and some city skylines.

Have an episode where Steven explores among the working-class Homeworld Gems, and befriends them, only to be reprimanded for mixing with commoners. Then maybe he sneaks out to explore incognito or something.

Have an episode where a gem takes Steven on a tour of Homeworld since he doesn’t have Pink’s memory of it. Have episodes where he learns exactly how the Diamonds colonize planets so we can see his reactions.

Have episodes where the Diamonds remind him of his duties (especially with the extraction chambers), and he struggles with trying to manage his gems since they’re a little too eager to please him. Heck, just have an episode where someone explains Gem History to him, for crying out loud— he changed White’s mind without knowing practically anything about her!

Steven could’ve really advocated for social change and proved his case to the other Diamonds. He’d slowly be causing more and more trouble while the looming threat of White’s anger grows— until she finally feels the need to intervene.

Steven’s time on Homeworld was very brief and the experience was limited. There was so much more that could’ve been done, and it really feels like a missed opportunity that everything wrapped up so quickly.

Any other things you would’ve liked to see on Homeworld?
