As we all know, gems serve the Diamond who they share colors/ match colors with. I have a theory that sometimes gems are passed to other courts to fill in positions. It would make sense for Nephrite to be in Blue or Yellow's court but she's in Pinks court. For Ruby she was in Blue's court but It'd make sense if she was in Pink or Yellow's court. We have seen Jaspers in Yellow, Blue and Pinks courts so I guess it is cannon for them to be passed around.
