Yesterday was bilateral salpingectomy, it went super well and I feel great resting at home. The gas settling in my shoulders and my sore throat have honestly been the most uncomfortable party.

I’m grateful my process was super quick. Three weeks between my consultation and surgery date. My doctor new my timeline due to meeting this years deductible. She followed my lead, and trusted my judgement. The staff and nurses at the surgery center were some of the nicest people I had ever met in healthcare and my favorite Christmas song was playing when I left the OR.

This was a liberating experience. I am officially one and done having babies 👏❤️
