I'm 3 days post-op from bisalp and ablation, and currently holding six pounds of swelling and still have the laparoscopy gas in my entire trunk. It's incredibly uncomfortable and my stomach is sloshing around every time I move.

How long does this take to go away??? I've done hot showers, laxatives, belly massage... Nothing is helping.

I understand for sure. Endo as a whole and the related bloating and bleeding and constipation was constantly making my body change drastically so that I could never get a handle on what felt normal. It really played negatively into my self image issues and I hope that this surgery helps long term to keep me on a more even plane. Unfortunately it had to get worse before it gets better 🥲

4 or 5 days for me, I thought it would never go away then like everything else with the healing process it was just gone one day. To be fair I was basically bloated and constipated all the time anyway before the surgery 😂 I did try to walk frequently enough but nothing really stood out as helping it, it just went down when it did.
