Hey. I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate everything you do for my exe and the kids! The children arnt your kids and you love them like your own. The meaning of a father figure is a title I hold very high as my father(stepdad) didnt need to be there but he stepped up as you are. I know i got after the kids for calling you dad but after seeing you go above and beyond for your new family I humbly accept you as their father. I know I haven't been much help this last year but I hope you understand it hasn't been easy for me and I'm trying with all I can to be a better perent and suport for you all. Things are getting better I promise and I hope one day I can not burden you all with my issues. I do consider you and your new son apart of my family and as such I go to the ends of the earth for them.

Several people had been telling me I was doing a good job with my step kids but getting this from someone that has no reason to like me in the slightest really help set it that I am actually doing good.
