We just recently have been able to get SD4 for 24 hour periods EOW. SO found out last year that he has a daughter from a one night stand. Since the court order for child support and paternity testing, it was an absolute battle to get a parenting plan.

SD4 is absolutely adorable. We can barely understand her speech, but we manage. She is very fearful and shy, but she has seemed to warm up to me.

The first night she spent with us, I noticed BM only sent one pair of underwear and a bunch of diapers....oooookay. kinda gross.

She just spent the second night with us, and she had NO underwear. She was wearing a diaper, only had diapers packed, and was peeing and pooping in her diaper.

Now....i realize kids develop at different paces, but my daughter could at least urinate in the toilet by 4.

When we took SD back home, her mom wasn't there. BM's sister explained that she mostly has SD, and that SD's room was so messy that she couldn't find underwear. She also explained that BM hasn't been enforcing any healthy bathroom behaviors, and just gives SD a bath every time she soils herself. She didn't even explain where BM was at, but did let us know that SD has asked to live with BMs sister, and views her as the mother.

There is SO much wrong with that situation! But how the hell am I going to potty train a 4 year old EOW during a 24 hour period???
