SO (we've been dating for two years) and I had plans for a camping trip this weekend—to leave early tomorrow afternoon so we could some much-needed time together. He even pressured me to take a half-day, gave me a hard time when I couldn't, and said "I really think we could use the getaway," and "I don't wanna set up a tent in the dark." I assured him we'd be fine and I could work in the car (I can, my job is mostly remote).

Well, of course BM has a surprise doctor's appointment she told no one about and can't pick up their son until mid-afternoon. SO just told me, "so actually we can't leave until after she picks him up...."

I know he is logging hours to make sure he has the most time since they have a custody hearing come up, but come on. BM is an adult and cannot rely on him for everything. One minute "we need this getaway" and the next it's "oh btw, BM needs me to watch a few more hours." I feel like I'm going crazy. I don't know if I'm overreacting, warranted, or what. :(
