My SD, 11, had been having horrible anxiety, especially at bedtime. We feel awful for her and try to support her in any way we can. She lives primarily with her mother/his ex who has a very different way of handling things. Much of her anxiety unfortunately seems to be stemming from this. Does anyone have some ideas to possibly help relax for bed/self-soothe to help her better cope? Or things we can do with her?
I struggle with PTSD/anxiety myself and her father is an absolutely amazing support. We both understand and just want to help...any therapy suggestions?
Poor girl maybe get her a sleep sound machine with led lights
