SS is 10, yesterday was a huge annoyance because he got called in some bad behaviour and his dad and I talked to him.

He started in on he didn’t want me involved, because I’m not his family, not his blood, etc.

I am the most calm human in his life, I recently did things like run to the pharmacy at midnight for him, I drive him everywhere, cook him supper and wash his clothes. I agree to take him when BM needs help.

Hi father told him it wasn’t appropriate and reigned it in, but I’m still pissed off today.

For comparison my teenager would never think of saying stuff like that to my partner, who is not his dad.

SS is just so dramatic and mean at times I find myself resentful. I know I’m an adult and should be a better person, but today I am still pissed off.
