Does anyone else have any question as to the similarities between these characters? They both seem to possess the ability to use art as a way to make things happen. Is that really it? I know King uses many other similar powers across characters in his book i.e. shining or having the touch. I just finished Duma Key and to be honest it might be one of my favorite King books, I really enjoyed it.
Also, just as another little side note. Perse, being tied, or existing within the china doll. I know the idea is that she is Persephone, but also, could she possibly be like Tak the china doll being her can tah? Thanks for reading. I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts.
