A question on various printings of The Dark Tower series, and if there's a reliable way to track down specific printings.
Post Body

At Barnes and Noble today, I picked up Wolves of the Calla and Song of Susannah for $7 each, brand new. The copies are a trade paperback printing by Scribner and they're gorgeous!

Wolves of the Calla Picture

I love the fantasy/campy cover. I like the size of it, and it's got the full-color pictures by the late great Bernie Wrightson in it. Song of Susannah is much the same.

I went to the Scribner website and realized the current trade paperbacks of this series now have different covers, which I don't like nearly as much. I guess they wanted something out in markets that has a similar cohesive look and feel with the movie coming out soon, which makes sense.

Otherwise this book is an amazing printing and I'd like to know if there's a way to pinpoint how to search for these online. A lot of Amazon third-party vendors aren't nearly that specific.

Also, feel free to share your own favorite printings of these books. I have an older printing of Drawing of the Three that I also love by Plume, which has the full color pictures in it. However, if I could find one that matches my books V and VI that I got today, I'd trade it in for that.
