My family’s cabin in Maine that was built in the 60’s - fitting setting for a Stephen King novel?

Post Body

Have to be honest, I think Stephen King captures the feeling of Maine really well. The flavor of mixed welcomeness and deep fear of the dark, of people, of the woods.

There’s something about Maine that feels like we haven’t claimed the land, that it’s unspoken but understood that the wilderness is what truly lives here.

Also want to mention how bright and beautiful Maine is, how wonderful the people are. The folksy way that people have.

I love Maine and I’m so happy to have been born in Bangor. It’s a great place to call home.
