Idk, I love love love this book but looking back I’m scratching my head as to why we heard so much about the poop and how horrible the old lady was. I get the whole nightmare thing, but why was it necessary to make the old lady so horrible to Dolores? Was it just a sympathy thing? It is seems like such a huge theme throughout the book and so must relate to the overall book right?
