Late mom’s copy, my first read through inspired by y’all’s posts

I picked up my first Stephen King book (The Shining), as well as my love of King and reading, from my mom. She died 5 years ago. I vividly remember her sharing her own vivid memories of how scary ‘salem’s Lot was to read, and I avoided it (not quite subconsciously). Well, it’s time. I pulled her paperback copy that she traveled around with for 40 years. So thanks to everyone’s excitement for pulling me in, and thanks for the book mom!
