For me, the Green Mile had me an emotional wreck. I watched it for the first time with my dad and sister a few years ago (sister’s first time as well; my dad really wanted us to watch it), and I remember being so enthralled and just so absorbed into the story. It was so magical.
My dad never really cries at movies. But by the end, all three of us were just sobbing on the couch. That’s a movie moment I will never forget, for all of my life.
I’m now reading the book and ready to get emotionally destroyed alllll over again. Which of King’s movies, shows, or books have stirred a strong emotional response in you? I’d love to hear!
