Currently playing a game of "Call of Cthulu". Creepy stuff is happening in this game. I've seen horror films. It all feels like a separate universe, apart from me.

During this game though I playfully mentioned how, when one of our players was in the library (finding potential content that affects their sanity), I made a joke about how bad it would be if there was suddenly a floating red balloon.

Ever since that joke I've felt a little off.

When I have watched and read about IT, it seemed so fundamentally unsettling. I remember someone describing the universe (our real universe) as generally having two cosmic sides, and that IT bothered them because since Kings crash, his writing has all been unsettling (touched by the darker cosmic force, the Void).

I dunno. It feels like something dark is brushing against my soul. I don't use those words lightly.

Anyone else have any thoughts or simular vibes?
