Not trying to single out anybody... but your use of date format tells me that many (most?) active users on this sub aren't from the US. I figure if you're on this sub and taking the USMLE, you probably have aspirations of moving to and practicing in the US at some point, so might as well learn this now... The United States uses mm/dd/yyyy format or in pretty rare cases, yyyy/mm/dd... but month before year, always.
I know this seems trivial, but if you're corresponding over email with people in the US (i.e., program directors) and you use the DD/MM format you're going to run a high risk of miscommunication. I.e., let's say you plan the most consequential meeting of your life for 10/8, I read that as October 8th.
And if you think thatβs fun, wait till you see inches, feet, yards, ounces, cups, pints, quarts, and gallons π
