I have tried the following to fix:
- Reboot PC
- Exit Steam and restart it
- Changed Download Region multiple times to multiple locations across the USA
- Limit Download Speed
- Turned off Game File Transfer over Local Network
- Clear Download Cache
- Checked game file integrity
- Waited until it was trying to connect, then Paused the update, waited a little bit then Unpaused
- Changed DNS to 8.8.4.4
- Disable/re-enable NIC
- Spamming the retry button
- Waiting for Steam to auto try
- Removing the game from the update queue and re-adding it
- Changed the game to High-Priority Updating
I am on Wi-Fi with 22 Mbps download. Everything has failed. Most of the time it instantly just says 'No Internet Connection' but other times it will attempt to start, then go a second or two, then fail. The 'Content Configuration Unavailable' and 'Content Servers Unreachable' messages seem to be randomly dispersed and not actually dependent on anything.
I am trying to update Cyberpunk 2077 but the same issue has occurred with other games as well. I was able to get a very tiny update for Kenshi (KB large) pushed through. This update is large because I have not played it since 2021 but it isn't even trying to download.
I just tried to also download JUST the Bonus Content Music which is 1 GB. That started out with the same issue but while I was typing this out I successfully downloaded that only.
I genuinely do not want to uninstall the game because it will take a LONG time to reacquire and even that may start failing.
