Today is a great day for a Snowrunner giveaway. As I turn my attention now to the community here and see who among you really wants the pain and suffering good times that Snowrunner is sure to provide many hours of I wonder what kind of masochist person wants this.
Usually I don't have any expectations for people entering, after all I do consider all comments before making a final decision on who wins. In this case I must be honest and say that I want people who have some idea what to expect or have an idea what the game is like, for the average user I don't think it'll be a great experience winching your way through deep mud often.
Some information on the game is that you will very often be delivering materials to locations, getting them to where they need to go is the biggest part of the experience. There's no npcs and the term skinnerbox has been used to describe this game in some discussions but it doesn't detract from it, rather this is a different experience. Not really to be compared to euro truck simulator or american truck sim either, you don't have any hard rules to abide by and the only things that matter is finishing the jobs you set out to do, knowing what to use is advantageous but overall trucks are balanced.
No rules on this one. Just a note to say that this giveaway will run for a full 24 hours and will close tomorrow at 2pm GMT.
Edit: One lucky person has been picked and I have reached out to them to award the key.
