Finally got the chance to cook a nice steak for pops. Went and picked up a couple prime ribeyes from the farmers market, reverse seared them to what I thought was a pretty solid medium rare. The first thing he does is mention it’s raw and that he can’t eat it. Got him to try a bite and he threw the rest of his steak on my plate, I didn’t hear the end of it for the rest of the night. I will definitely reconsider making the family dinner next time I get the opportunity. So what do you guys think, too raw, perfect, or cooked too much?
This is a MR. A line of white fat doesn't mean it isn't. Rare is a lot redder.

There isn't one iota of ruby red on this steak though. Rare would need some ruby red gummy consistency. This steak is MR.
