Trying to find the efficacy of a treatment vs a control across multiple true vs. false variables
Post Body

I'm trying to determine if a treatment is efficacious in preventing a number of complications. We have a number of outcome measures for each animal, each represented as true (condition present, 1) or false (condition not present, 0). The treatment group as 15 cases, the control group has 13.

What would be the best test for testing whether the drug significantly lowers the incidence of complications? Can I just throw a Mann Whitney U test at it? Pearson's X2 Test for Independence?

Thanks!
